Accurate books · Designated funds · Confident decisions
Bookkeeping for congregations, ministries, and small businesses. Restricted gifts stay restricted. Monthly books stay current. Leaders get reports they can actually use.
Pruitt Bookkeeping LLC keeps the books for churches, ministries, and small businesses that need more than a stack of transactions. The work is monthly, documented, and built so a pastor, treasurer, or owner can see where the money stands.
Church and ministry clients receive fund accounting: restricted and unrestricted gifts tracked separately, spending checked against the fund that authorized it, and reports a finance committee can read. Designated money is not treated as general cash.
Small business clients receive the same standard of care on a simpler set of books — reconciliations, categorized expenses, and monthly reports that make cash flow and tax time clearer.
Work is done in QuickBooks Online. Cleanup of behind books and one-time setup are quoted separately from the monthly retainer.
Formal business education, plus active Intuit and AccountingCoach credentials. Church fund accounting and small business books are kept in QuickBooks Online by a trained bookkeeper.
Small business bookkeeping starts at $250 a month. Church and ministry fund accounting starts at $700 a month, because designated funds, board reporting, and giving detail take more than a standard ledger. Every figure is a starting point and scales with transaction volume.
The plus sign is intentional. A church with several funds, or a business with heavy transaction volume, is quoted above the starting rate. Catch-up bookkeeping, chart-of-accounts setup, and payroll processing are scoped on their own.
A consultation is complimentary. We will look at the books you have, the funds or accounts you need tracked, and whether a monthly engagement is the right fit.
Every inquiry is answered personally, usually within one business day. There is no obligation.
